Maria the Nazca Mummy Coloring Page

In the spring of 2017, Gaia began documenting a team of researchers and scientists in their investigation of what appears to be the mummified body of a previously unknown humanoid species. The body was discovered in an underground area outside of Nazca, Peru. It is similar to modern humans, but has striking differences such as its long three-fingered hands and three-toes feet, the lack of ears, an elongated head, enlarged eyes, and a diminutive nose.

The investigation of the mummy is ongoing with tools including CT scans, carbon dating, and DNA testing. So far, the mummy has been carbon dated to  245 – 410 AD. It was also given the name Maria after preliminary DNA testing determined its gender to be female. Gaia continues to keep the public informed as research uncovers more information about this mummy.

I made a printable coloring sheet for artistic people interested in this fascinating discovery. Save and print the PDF file which matches your paper size, either the Nazca mummy coloring page letter (8.5 by 11 in) or Nazca mummy coloring page A4 (210 by 297 mm). Then enjoy coloring!
